Welcome to Marlin week from Canyon’s
Café in West O. I’d like to start off by thanking
Hurricane Alex for all of the rain we’ve had in the past week.
Can you smell the sarcasm? At least some waves came out of the
deal, but I think we are still on the short end of the stick. Oh
well, enough complaining. Happy B-Days to Captain Rob (Endeavor) and our
waitress Lydia,
so close to 21, so close... Also, a warm goodbye to one of our
cooks, Kevin.
It’s been fun, buddy, good luck at band camp, I mean school.
On to events of the week. Tomorrow (Sat.),
we’ve got Microwave Dave and the Nukes playing on the docks from 6 til 10. Sunday, Tranzfusion rocks out from 4 til
8. Lets not forget that Zion Reggae plays every Wednesday for Arts on the Dock from 4 til 8.
Thursday night is still kicking with “In the Biz” night
where all drinks are half off for service industry people! A big
thanks to the Angler and Marlin Moon crowd for the turnout last week. All the rest of you West OC
people, come check it out before it’s over! Sorry to Brad and Eric of Three
Beers Deep for getting rained out last
week. We’d rather have you guys alive to play again another day
than struck by lightning.
Last, but not least, a big welcome to Stoli and
Bacardi people in town this week. Please give my rep, Sarah, a raise. She deserves it.
There was another T-man sighting this weekend, people be on the lookout.
Well, that about does it for this week. If you are
tired of all the crowds, come on over to the OC Fishing Center for the best
dock-side party in town. Hopefully, we will be celebrating one of our
boys winning the Tournament for the second year in a row! Later Days.
