Chef Jeff Faille and Chef Dino Jones team up to serve you the best menu in town at the lovely Ocean Club at Horizons in the Clarion Resort Fontainebleu Hotel.
Ron said he felt the need for some protein and he couldn’t have come to any place better because the Ocean Club features only the best Certified Black Angus Beef. He went with the awesome Prime Rib of Beef au jus which he enjoyed immensely. For your dining pleasure you may choose the New York Strip Sirloin, the Filet Mignon, the Delmonico Steak, the Grilled Veal Chop or the classic Surf and Turf, a five-ounce Mignon and two cold-water Lobster tails.
Seafood is an important part of the menu here with a Fresh Catch, such as Flounder, Salmon, Tuna and/or Snapper featured on the nightly dinner specials. Two very special fish dishes are available every night: Orange Roughy Annapolis (New Zealand Roughy stuffed with crab imperial) and the Orange Roughy Chesapeake, seasoned with old bay and lemon pepper. Also on the regular menu are Shrimp Scampi, Cajun Shrimp, Imperial Crab “Maryland,” Jumbo Crab Cakes and Lobster Tail. Every dish is fabulous!
Be sure to consult with your server or Mr. Heubeck for a wine to complement your meal. The Ocean Club/Horizons is very proud of their wine list and, in fact, the “Wine Spectator” has given it the Award of Excellence nine years running. On the Wine Specials list alone, wines from vineyards in California, Washington, Oregon, Chile, New Zealand and Australia are featured. Many rare vintages from around the world are offered from their extensive wine cellars.
The holiday season is always festive here with gorgeous decorations, tempting aromas and the best live music for dancing. As always, the Famous All You Can Eat Prime Rib, Crab Legs & Seafood Buffet is offered - Friday from 5-6 p.m. and Saturday from 6-9 p.m. There’s every kind of dish imaginable in this ever popular buffet that will run ‘til January 1 and then reopen in February on Valentine’s weekend.
Thursday, Nov. 25, a Holiday Buffet will be served from 12-8 p.m. in the Crystal Ballroom. A plated Thanksgiving Dinner will be offered in Horizons from 1-8 p.m. for $17.95 with replenishments and also a limited menu. Reservations are strongly suggested as this is a very popular event.
A Candlelight Christmas Eve Buffet from 5-9 p.m. is guaranteed to be beautiful, and the Christmas Day Holiday Buffet from 1-8 p.m. is festive and also priced at $17.95. It’s not too early to make plans for New Year’s Eve - One Party, three bands, three rooms, continuous live music, open bar, gourmet buffet - a real blast!
