The Greene Turtle will be fixin’ up some homemade Turkey dinners for you, too; they’ll open at 6pm; music by DJ Wax at 10. We had a good time up there Tuesday night raising money to help our Pee Wee football and cheer squad kids with traveling expenses as they compete for championships. Sure hope they win.
Buxy’s Salty Dog will open at 5pm Thanksgiving day to serve you Turkey with all the fixin’s. This Saturday, there will be a special performance from Opposite Directions and 3 Beers Deep will return on Tuesday. Look for DJ Rupe to do a special Saturday party Nov. 27.
You’ve gotta get out to the new Dungeon and party with Rupe on Wednesdays. Well, you can party there every night. The place has been renovated, there’s good food and friendly service (check out Jamie and Kim in their Barhopper article). I know Patrick and his crew will recapture the glory days with more entertainment and fun to come.
BJ’s is ready to host you and your family this Thanksgiving with homemade dinners served from 11am - 10pm. They’ve even booked Michael Tracey White to play and sing for you. He’ll be back Friday and Saturday, too. I’m looking forward to hearing this excellent entertainer again (miss ya, Michael)- in fact, the Coconut Times “Entertainer of the Year.” Another wonderful entertainer, Dave Sherman will be on hand Wednesday for your listening pleasure.
