Just keep swimming & swimming! Can you believe it’s already here? Monday marked the 1st day of the 39th Annual White Marlin Open. Make sure you stop by the Reel Inn for a crush and the freshest tuna around. Big Thanks & Hello go out to the owners, Spunky and Angie Lathroum!
We had a great time taking care of the Weber’s 51st family reunion. They come from Connecticut, Colorado and Florida to get wild and crazy every year! They never forget to stop in to see us! Karen served them their 1st beer when they were of age! Another generation of Weber kids, 35 years later, joined in on the fun and Karen is still slingin’ drinks! Thanks Ron, Kurt, Jeff, Ryan and the whole crew! You were a blast & tons of laughs; can’t wait to see you next year!
The infamous Mark Kenneally, a.k.a. Dr. Harmonica, lead singer of Rockett 88, was inducted into the International Blues Hall of Fame at the Blue Parrot Bar & Grill in Wilmington, Del. He started out as a small town boy from Seaford, Del. and worked hard doing what he loved to become such a big time success. Congrats Mark! Your Turtle family is so proud of you; come & visit us soon!
When watching the Olympics, don’t forget to scope out the equestrian (horseback riding!) events, so when Megan competes in 4 years, we have a grasp on how awesome she’ll be! Just let her finish her 5th Turtle Chesapeake burger (medium rare, please)!! Don’t worry, Meg, Osiel will have it ready with L,T & extra fries! Just kidding about Meg being an Olympian; she’s good, but not that good (not yet!); but we’re not kidding about the delicious Chesapeake burgers! Regardless, the Olympics are awesome & USA is kicking butt! As always, be happy, be Greene, come to the Turtle and be seen!
