We had a wonderful Labor Day Weekend and are now looking forward to the “Second Season” at Coconuts, which means that MORE LOCALS start to reappear to enjoy the LIVE MUSIC DAILY and delicious beverages and food!  GREAT MUSIC that was enjoyed this week was provided from such entertainers as Darin Engh, John LaMere, Rick & Regina, Kevin Poole & Joe Mama, Monkee Paw, Nate Clendenen, Bob Wilkinson & Joe Smooth (& Pete … The PBJ’s), Lauren Glick & The Moodswingers, and Old School (great to see Linda back and I hope she felt the love from everyone!!).
    What a pleasure to see the following folks this week:  Steve & Mary Paula, Marc, Tom, Sabina, Linda, Stacy, Brenda, Gordon, Kathleen & Tate, George & Anna, Brooke, Bryant & Connie, Austin & Sophie, Damon & Cole, Nick, Brendan, Josh, Scotty, John, Linda & Joe, Shannon & Joe, Tony & Stacy, Laura and Shanae, Trevor, Brett, Richard, Bill, Carolyn, Renee, Michelle and Barbie (Shhh … we never saw you and I hope you remembered to remove your wristbands before you returned home … dead giveaway that you were out having FUN!!), Beth, and, of course, The EDS with the wonderful addition of Sherry who learned to love a SMILEY!!
    A VERY SPECIAL Shout Out and THANK YOU to The Bull on the Beach & Crab Alley crews who closed their businesses last Tuesday so that they could all enjoy an Employee Party together at COCONUTS!!  Thanks to you ALL, especially Phil, Tom and Michelle … it is apparent that you appreciate your staff and they are lucky to work for such wonderful employers … you can see that you are a FAMILY!!
    If you haven’t experienced it yet, please make a point to join us for HAPPY HOUR, which is EVERY DAY from 5pm – 6pm … the fastest hour on the beach where everything is 2 for 1!!  Like the Daily Duck Feedings at BJ’s, Sunsets at Fager’s, Thrashers on The Boardwalk (you get the picture!), HAPPY HOUR at COCONUTS is something you must experience, as it is an Ocean City Tradition!!  
    There are only TWO TIPSY TURTLE TUESDAYS left!!!  Although the odds are better to win in the next couple of weeks (fewer people in town!), we have noticed many locals who are now able to show up for their chance to win a Free Bahamas Vacation.  Even if your entry isn’t chosen, you are guaranteed to enjoy your beverage and see friends you may not have seen all summer.  Mark your calendar for Sunday, September 27th, where the FINAL Tipsy Turtle Winner will be chosen.
