Hello OC! Summer is here! We have just about gotten through June, and survived all the Junebugs! Don't they know what the crosswalks are for? Thanks to all who came into BJ's this past week, Joe and Donna, John and Debbie, Tony, Bob, Ed and Kim, Tony and Steph (Thanks for the chocolate covered strawberries!! YUM!), Tasty, Mike and Margie, Sam and Mike, Brian and Diane, Josh (the trashcan is supposed to be for trash!), Betsy and Carmel, plus many more! Happy belated birthday goes out to Linda (MLJ), and also to Joanne!
    Mark your calendars for Tuesday, July 13th! It will be the biggest event of the summer! Yes, that’s right everyone, it's Canoe Race time again!! Get your teams ready. You just need 4 people per team, 2 guys and 2 girls, and closed-toe shoes. All team members must be 21 or older to participate! This is the biggest and best drunk fest all summer! Even if you don't race, come on out and watch the race!! It is sooo much fun!! Registration begins at 10am. You do not want to miss this!!
    BJ's on the Water has live entertainment every Wednesday during happy hour from 5-8, and also every Friday and Saturday nights starting at 9pm. This weekend we will have The Mood Swingers with Lauren Glick both nights, and Wednesday, we will have Electric Company!! These are two bands you won't want to miss! We have happy hour every M-F from 4-7 with great food and drink specials, and we have late night happy hour every Sun-Thur which includes lots of drink specials! Our entire menu is served every day from 11am-1:30 am; you can have lunch for dinner or dinner for lunch! We have great sandwiches, salads, appetizers, entrees, and delicious desserts! We also have a great kids menu!
    So, come dine with us in our bayfront room, with beautiful views of the bay, outside on one of our decks (open air and covered), or watch your favorite sports (including the world cup games) on one of our 14 flat screen TVs! We have something for everyone!     Hello OC! Our 30th Anniversay Party was a HUGE turnout! Thanks to all who stopped in to party with us and the sounds of our own house band Teenage Rust and the Fabulous Rustettes such as Mike and Mamie, Bob and Patty, Bill and Joan, Denny O, Jim Mathias, Rick Meehan, Duane and Paula, Egg, Judge Purnell, Chip Gordy, Buck Mann, Dave Ford, Moe, and all the tons of others!
    Speaking of Teenage Rust, we celebrated the life of one of the founding members of Teenage Rust this week - Jimmy Sporrer, may you rest in peace! Many were on hand to join us for the occasion: Robin Sporrer, Robin and Jimmy's children Jamie, Justin, and Adam and their families, John Fager, Bruce Moore, Bobby Jester, Kenny Glass, Steve and Pam Green, Paul and Crystal, Terry Bosley, Tom, Wesso, Donna, Leah, Marvin, Martin Steen, John Talbot, and many other locals. Part of what made the occasion fun was seeing old videos of the band with Jimmy doing Tom Cruise-like renditions of classic songs!
    We would like to send out happy belated birthdays to Sherry, Frank Miller (the big 5-0!), and our own Alex! BJ's on the Water has live music every Wednesdays for happy hour from 5-8pm and every Friday and Saturday nights starting at 9pm. Both nights this weekend, we are featuring Full Circle!! Next Wednesday, we will have Time Warp Blues Band!
    We have great happy hour specials M-F from 4-7pm and again on Sun-Th from 10pm-close! We serve our entire menu every day, from 11AM until 1:30AM. There is never a cover or a minimum, and the parking is always free!     Don’t forget to mark your calendar for the biggest event of the summer coming to BJ's on the Water on Tuesday, July 13! Yep, that's right! It’s Canoe Race time again!!! If you want to be in the race, all you need is a four-person team consisting of 2 girls and 2 guys, and closed-toed shoes! You do not want to miss it! Even if you don't want to race, you have got to come by to watch! It's a BLAST!!
    We have live entertainment every Wed from 5-8pm during happy hour and every Fri and Sat starting at 9pm! There is never a cover charge! This weekend we have Opposite Directions both Friday and Saturday, and next Wed we have The Aaron Howell Band! Happy Hour is M-F 4-7 and late nite happy hour is Sun- Thurs from 10pm-close! We have plenty of food and drink specials, so come on in and see us! We also have a courtesy van available to get you home, if you have had too much fun!

    Hello OC! Hope everyone had a great Memorial Day weekend! Thanks to all the familiar faces that came in to see us amongst the tourists, such as Pat and George, Eddie, Jack and Deb, Jeff and Eileen, Kevin, Donna, Denise and the gang, Chuck and Kathy, Dan and Stacy, Duane, Paula, and Jeff, plus so many others! Happy Belated birthday goes out to Judy! Hope it was great! Thanks to Patrick who pulled a whole shift with me on Tues! You kept me from being alone!

Please join us for refreshments and entertainment by our own house band, Teenage Rust and the Fabulous Rustettes! BJ's has been "Still The Same" for 30 years! We serve our entire menu every day from 11am- 1:30am, all year round! We have great sandwiches, salads, soups, and sizzlin steaks! We have a Chillin' Raw Bar, frosty libations and a great kids menu! Daily Duck feeding is always at 1pm and we always have plenty of free parking!
