Hey OC! It's thats time of year again, are you ready for some football?! We are the official headquaters for the Redskins and they are starting off 2-0 in the preseason. We have had a great turn out for the games so far; come in and cheer them on. You can even sit in our new booths that are outfitted with their own individual TV's.
    Tonight the crowd will be out in full effect to hear Mood Swingers w/ Lauren Glick starting at 9pm, Saturday night Full Circle will take the stage. Don't forget our deckless deck parties every Wednesday from 5-8. This week Lenny G and the Soul Senders will be here for your listening pleasure. We have great food and drink specials for happy hour every M-F from 4-7 and a late night happy hour Thu-Sun from 10-close.
    I would like to wish our very own Billy Carder a Happy Birthday which he celebrated this past week. We saw many new and old friends over the last week: George Fassio and family (Go Ravens!), Brian and Lisa from Adam's Ribs (Annapolis), and Skunny and Jackie (Nacho Mama's). Roger and Sue Knox stopped in to see son Taylor perform with Back Seat Becky. Of course, we can't leave out Miller Lite Mike, Norm Welch, Sam, Anton, and last, but certainly not least, Dancing John.
    I would personally like to congratulate my great friends from Kirby's Red Onion softball team on their league championship title. Love you guys and you certainly know how to throw a pool party. The only way it could have been better was if the Turtle had actually shown up!

    Hey OC! Christy here, filling in for Allison. First, we need to say Happy Birthday to our leader—Billy Carder’s birthday is Sunday, so come on by over the weekend and wish him a Happy Birthday!  We also want to wish Fen Connor a Happy Birthday!
    Babs—we heard about the unfortunate accident—but you need to be up and ready to dance very soon! Teenage Rust & the Fabulous Rustettes is about to go on tour again—you have to be up and dancing by the time they play in September (check the Chamber calendar for tour dates and they will also play at Sunfest!).
    Our bands ROCKED over the weekend, and many thanks to all of those who hung out with us this week because of it.  We saw Nate (Galaxy 66), Natalie & Corey, Jim & Mo, Kevin, Brad (who was MIA for a while!), Dancing John, ML George, ML Mike, Kenny & Janet (we had been keeping those Heineken's on ice for a while), Ellis & Lynda, Barry (Fresco’s), Mandy & the Phillips girls, Christie C., June and Cindy (was that 3 days in a row….we love you both), and many more.
    We also had a little Baltimore in the house this weekend—Tonia, Tom Welsh & Danielle, and Adam Sielicki (where were Amy & Casey again?).  Patrick, you missed Popper’s shift, but never fear—she’ll be back for more. Popp & I got to entertain a few coworkers for a bit on Saturday—Nikki, Robert & Ricky put in a little time with us after a busy shift.  
    We’ve been missing Brian & Diane—hope that strike ends soon, Brian, and you get back to OC!  
    The music lineup is as awesome as always this week. Lenny G & the Soulsenders are here on Friday night from 9-1, and Back Seat Becky is here on Saturday from 9-1. Our infamous Deckless Deck Party next Wednesday will have the Aaron Howell Band on stage from 4-8. You get to see rockin’ music at BJ’s and it’s always free.  
    Finally, the entire BJ’s family wishes to express our heartfelt condolences to Senator Jim Mathias for the passing of his dear wife, Kathy, to their children Lauren and Trevor, and to the rest of the Mathias family. She will be greatly missed.
    We hope to see you all here this week for our great food and drink specials - don’t forget, we serve our full menu from open to close (11 am to 1:30 am the next morning). Happy hour is Monday - Friday from 4-7, and Sunday-Thursday from 10 pm to close. And the music and sunsets are always free.     Hello OC! It's me, Renee, filling in for Allison this week. Hope everyone is great! First, I would like to send out congrats to Ponzettti's canoe team for winning 1st place in our canoe race finals! 2nd place went out to Rio Blue Fin and 3rd place went out to Embers! Thanks for all who participated and good luck next year to those of you who didn't place (my guys from Galaxy). In case you didn't know, we just celebrated our 32nd birthday, here at BJ's, so Happy Birthday to BJ's! 32 years young on 8-2-2011! (and we are still the same!!).
    Speaking of birthdays...happy birthday to Patricia (Comcast) who celebrates her 2nd Anniversary of her 25th b’day! Happy birthday also goes out to George! White Marlin tournament is coming up soon which makes me think you should come in and try our fresh catch! (I doubt it is marlin, but it is gonna be fresh and good!)
