Here we go again! Memorial Day weekend is finally here and the boards will definitely be rocking all weekend long at The Purple Moose Saloon!!  Our 4 day holiday party begins Friday afternoon at 2pm w/DJ Joey Capo and features the return of Surreal on Friday/Saturday night and Perfect Excuse on Sunday/Monday night... make sure to roll in early to beat the cover.
    Here are just some of the beautiful people that came downtown last week to play with us on the boardwalk... Nichole and Shannon (Annapolis, Md), Dani and Brian (Cockeysville, Md.), the graduates from VCU and The Robert Paul Academy, Morgan and Hannah (Philly, where it's always sunny), Dr. Allison (Woodbridge, Va.), Brittany from NYC.. OMG, Bree from Finnagans, Cala and Dana Rose, Chris and Cheryl (Bmore), a few of my favorite Seacrets bartenders, Kristie and her family (Mt. Airy, Md.), Tracy, Jess, Angie, Amy, Denise and Erica, the owner of Costas in Bmore, Melissa (Tacoma, Wash.), Amanda and her parents (Bel Air, Md.), and, of course, I can't forget all of the cruisers who made last weekend such a huge success!

    Hello friends and welcome to the real tradition unlike any other... the summer season in OCMD!  As soon as you hear the revving of the engines you know "the cruisers" are here and Memorial Day isn't too far off... so with that in mind the boards are just beginning to rock once again down at the Purple Moose Saloon!! We are still your home for the best in classic and modern rock, all things Maryland Lottery, and our world famoose bloody marys...plus this year we now have $2.50 Natural Lite bottles ALL OF THE TIME!
    This weekend come catch DJ Joey Capo, DJ Bigler and Frankie -n- the Actions live on stage... and next weekend (mem'l day weekend) it's the returns of Kashmir and Surreal! Now, it's time to name drop, lol... here are just a few of the nice folks that came to party with us down at The Moose last week... Mandy and Casey (I forget the bride’s name, my bad), Tori and her family (York, Pa.), Connie, Dixie and Allison (new OC locals), Shelly and her sister Deb (Harrisburg, Pa.), Andrew (good luck in Vegas), Deb from the original Scandals, Heather and Kim (Greensboro, Md. I think?), Jackie, her hubby Jeff and her sister Wendy (back in the day DJ Lefty followers, hehe), Jean and Jen (Lancaster, Pa.), Allison and Francie from D.C. (happy 40th), Chris and Cheryl (Fun City), Duffy (The Cork), Bennie, Fiona and all the piercers from next door, the crew from Mug -n- Mallet, and last, but not least, all the recent grads straight out of Lehigh... Congrats!
    If you want your name on the list all you gotta do is come to Talbot St.,make a turn towards the boardwalk and stop in and say hello. That includes all my uptown friends who I better see down here before September! Before I go, I’d like to extend my sympathies on behalf of The Moose to our great friend JJ McKay who recently lost a sibling... you and your family are in all of our thoughts.
