    Fresh out of the sandbox, DJ Calico pads into the Moose Wednesday, June 27 to lay down the purrrfect beats to move your feet out of your seat. Fix your hair and have a ball. I don't mean to be catty, but if you're not here when the fur flies, you must be locked up at the local shelter,  rrrROW!
    Then on Thursday, June 28, grunge band tribute Dirt arrives to cover you with the best of Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Alice In Chains and others to bury you up to your neck in that classic Seattle Sound!  Don't be over-bored, get self-assured; I know, I know a dirty word: Dirt at the Purple Moose!

    Ma Ma Ma Ma Moose MANIACS!  Are you too square, don't care, won't dare?  Then come get your fair share this week at the Purple Moose Saloon on the Boardwalk in Old Town Ocean City.
    This Friday and Saturday, June 15th and 16th, fresh from the dirty water of Pittsburgh, PA, it's Walk of Shame.  Let'm put a little Green in your Day, sanctify you with some Judas Priest, get you dancing 'til you're Weezer-ing and rock you into summertime Nirvana!  
    Next up, get out of the water and come swimming with Fuzzbox Piranha, appearing Sunday and Monday, June 17th and 18th.  How far-out are these guys? They've had their music played aboard the Space Shuttle! Come have them fire-up your rockets and blast off into interstellar overdrive, then splash down in one of the Moose's frozen drinks. These guys know the rock n' roll alphabet from AC/DC to ZZ Top.  
    On Tuesday, June 19th, it's International night with Hyjinx.  Members of this talented troupe have performed in the rock opera epic “Jesus Christ Superstar.”  Lead singer Meghan sings Pat Benatar, Pink and Lady Gaga; what more do you wanna?! Maybe some Michael Jackson or Bruno Mars... get to the Moose and hear the stars!
    Next the fur-flies with DJ Calico on Wednesday, June 20th.  When Calico lays down the dance tracks, you always want to land on your feet, so get your tail to Caroline Street and feel the heat.
    Then it's time to celebrate the Summer Solstice on Thursday, June 21st with Bargain, a tribute to rock demi-gods The Who. A bargain? The best you ever had, as they put you over the Moon and Town-send into teenage wasteland.     Hello OC. Hope you all had a great week!  This weekend looks to be spectacular and the PURPLE MOOSE has a fun-filled schedule of entertainment planned for you. This weekend, Friday and Saturday nights, ALTER EGO is gonna rock. These guys are great fun and play kick ass music, so come on down. On Sunday and Monday night it's THE CHEATERS, on Tuesday and Wednesday nights local favorites FUZZBOX PIRANHA; and rounding the week off with our Tribute Thursday is EVERYBODY WANTS SOME... a tribute to VanHalen.  And yes, Dennis Lee Roth will wear his spandex pants; he's just too funny.  I expect to see all you locals on Thursday for a fun-filled evening. Remember to drink plenty of water and eat a banana or two.
    INTERNATIONAL NIGHT every Tuesday should be on every foreign student’s calendar, with NO Cover, $1.50 Bud light drafts and $ 2.50 Moose juice shooter. Also at the end of each month we will have a drawing for a free trip to somewhere in the US, so make sure you register to win.  There are other prizes to win so come on down to register on Tuesday night.
    TAM Classes have been quite busy.     Hiddy Ho OC, what's going on? I don't know about you but I'm still recovering from last weekend and I didn't drink a drop, just worked my ass off (don't I wish literally) but anyhow, it was off the chain, as my good friend Frenchie would say!
    This weekend coming up should be pretty cool too, especially if you like PURPLE. Here at the PURPLE MOOSE can you guess what our favorite color is? If you can't you don't need a frontal lobotomy, you’re already gooonnneee. That's right PURPLE, and PURPLE will be all over this town because the RAVEN ROOST Parade is this weekend. At the PURPLE MOOSE we have Slim Jimmy from Frederick, Md. taking the stage this Friday and Saturday night, DJ Joey Capo, Saturday afternoon 2-6 pm and then ODYSSEY ROAD (Journey Tribute) on June 7th.  These guys were here last year;  they are fantastic and have unbelievable voices. I did not realize I knew so many Journey Songs, so check them out - should be a hoot.

Brett Scallions (original singer of FUEL), Brad Stewart (bassist from Shinedown), Andy Andersson (guitarist from Black Robot) and Ken Schalk (drummer from Candiria). These guys are so much fun, really cool to hang with and all around genuinely nice. I love their music!
