    Wow, I am so excited about our entertainment line-up! Have you seen what we have going on this week and next? Off the hook, as my BFF's would say, and I'm sure I am going to see a bunch of them these next two weeks. Starting tonight and Saturday night is the one and only "SURREAL." The house will be packed with adoring big-hair 80's fans, so get here early.  And then on Sunday and Monday  "STRAIGHT SHOOTER" will take us on a ride back to the Good old 'classic rock that has made the PURPLE MOOSE SALOON what it is today.
    NO COVER, Sunday thru Wednesday nights and great drink specials. Tuesday and Wednesday nights "PERFECT EXCUSE" will be taking the stage with their funky, modern sound, NO COVER and $ 1.50 Drafts. So come on down !!!

Tonight and Saturday night "FRANKIE & THE ACTIONS" will be at the PURPLE MOOSE. I love these guys and really love to debate Frankie and his right winged views. He and I have been going at it for years and I so look forward to a good debate.
    On Sunday and Monday nights "MARS BEHIND VENUS" will rock the house. These guys play a lot of your favorite classic rock songs. Along with them we will have some great drink specials. They truly are a blast to watch and are one of the most requested tribute bands.

    What's shakin' OC? The Purple Moose was last weekend, and I got a feeling it will be doing it again this weekend.  Whitehouse Effect takes the stage this Friday and Saturday nights. These guys are crazy, literally. Someone lets them out on the weekend, and guess where they make an escape to ... you got it, down the Ocean hon. I love when they are here; it's like a big frat party without the smelly house, so come on in and chug a few.
    And then Tribute Thursdays begin. First up... ALTER EAGLES. If you love the Eagles then this is the place to be. How many Eagles songs do you know?  Kashmir was here last week. Lots of locals made it down to pay homage to the best Zeppelin Tribute Band I have ever seen.  Our Ms.Brenda Golden was here and tried to leave, but was unsuccessful. I understand folks kept buying her drinks so she couldn't leave. Others spotted having a great time were John Hofman, Tommy Lord, Kim, Cliff & Patty Sutherland, Steve & Lindsey from Sopranos, and many others. Thanks for supporting great music !
    KIX will be here in just a few short weeks - June 30th. Tickets are on sale now. I've seen the ticket manifest and I'm not sure who's going to be left to work that night in OC, so good luck, visitors, on getting something to eat, lol. We also now have tickets available for ALMOST QUEEN, appearing July 21st. These guys are amazing, so get your tickets fast. There are only 3 tribute Queen bands in the country, and I've secured the best. Check out our ad ... the guy looks and sings like Freddy Mercury - just unbelievable!
