"To-nite there's gonna' be a break-out.. somewhere in this town!"  And where else could that be but at the Purple Moose with OutBreak, those fugitives from Baltimore performing rock n' roll  classics Friday and Saturday, July 27 and 28. It's time for you to get out of solitary and come party with the gang at The Purple Moose, Ocean City's ONLY boardwalk nightclub, located between Talbot and Caroline Streets in Old Towne.
    Let's keep this sing along going... ready? "It's soul easy to fall in love, it's soul easy to fall in love!"  Is it?  You'll KNOW it when you hear Soul Easy take the Moose's stage Sunday and Monday, July 29 and 30.  C'mon; have a slow-ride and take it Soul Easy as you slurp or sip, dance or sit, we got the tunes prone to give you fits at the World Famous Purple Moose, where the air-conditioning is on  full-tilt boogie, but it's the SCENE that's the coolest!
    I'm still singin' cuz' I wanna take you Hy-er!  Baby, baby, baby let's light our fires with Hyjinx on Tuesday, July 31. No I'm not high, but you'll be jinxed if you don't show up to watch Meghan and her boys belt-out the old and the new, from Michael Jackson to Lady Gaga, Van Halen to Bruno Mars. It's a musical three-ring circus, so come watch them walk that high-wire and say "Hi!" to Hyjinx.
    Then, fresh off the beach and into his sandbox at the Moose it's DJ Calico on Wednesday, August 1. Did you know that calicos are the state cat of Maryland, and that they are believed to bring good luck?  Well, DJ Calico will  put you into a state of sonic ecstasy and make you feel like you won the lottery. I'm not pulling your tail, top-shelf or rail, don't fail to get your back up, land on your feet and dance with us!
    Finally, all-together now: "Load up on fun, and bring yer friends, it's good to groove and then transcend..."  That may not sound quite like Nirvana, but I guarantee you Dirt will on Thursday, August 2. If you're a fan of Seattle Sounds, make your rounds at the Moose as Dirt performs their tribute band Pearl Jams, puts Alice in Chains and buries you til' you're neck deep in that soft hardrock flannel sound.
    A special announcement: appearing at the Purple Moose on Wednesday, August 15, comedian Colin Kane takes the stage with his nationally renowned improvisational skills. This rising star recently completed a successful two-year run at New York's famous Caroline's Comedy Club and had 7000 fans laughing at Madison Square Garden Theater. It's Surreal live and in the flesh on the stage at the Purple Moose this Friday and Saturday, July 20 and 21.  Surreal has been performing classic rock musical magic at the Moose for years and is one of our most popular bands. They pull one rock n' roll white rabbit after another out of their hat, doing it with tight arrangements and four-part harmonies. Witness as they wave electric magic wands and put a spell on you. Abracadabra! It's good times at the Purple Moose Saloon, Ocean City's ONLY boardwalk nightclub, located between Talbot and Caroline Streets in Olde Towne.
    On Sunday and Monday, July 22 and 23, we're turning Japanese, I think we're turning Japanese I really think so when Radio Tokyo broadcasts from our stage.  These guys hip, they hop, they pop and they rock so that you will have to squint your eyes to make sure you're not really seeing Neon Trees and Run DMC givin' you the Finger Eleven in a Blur. I really think so!
    If you're still jonesin` for a rockin' good time, call on Doc Hollywood to fix you up this coming Tuesday and Wednesday, July 24 and 25. They can cure your disco fever for sure so you will survive and soon you'll feel like you're walking on sunshine. It's a code purple at the Moose when you come party with Doc Hollywood.
    Then Moosekateers, get ready, because whether you were born in the U.S.A. or not, it's time to boogie into our jungleland cuz' baby you were born to run with The Rising, the bossiest Bruce Springsteen tribute band outside of Asbury Park! The promised land is the Purple Moose on Thursday, July 26 with The Rising! Take a trip through the history of the sensuous sounds made by Bruce and his E Street Band and feed your hungry heart.

    High times continue with Hyjinx on Tuesday, July 17, as lead singer Meghan lifts you up with the songs of Pat Benatar, Pink, Lady Gaga and other sounds sure to keep you flying. Mix that with a few pops from the friendliest bartenders on the shore and you'll feel the attitude to match your altitude.
    Padding back into the Moose on Wednesday, July 18, DJ Calico spins a hisssstory of musical treats sure to raise the fur on all you cats n' kittens for a howling good time! Come strut your stuff, shed the blues and get your tails dancing with DJ Calico.  
    Then, prepare yourself for a rock n' roll conversion as Judas Priestess arrives to sanctify your soul on Thursday, July 18.  It's a miracle! The only all-female tribute to the gods of metal will baptize you in sonic mayhem. They've been featured on VH1, opened for Twisted Sister, and have set wheels a'blazing at motorcycle festivals across the land. It's girls, leather, chains and hard rock: the boys will be in heaven man!
