Hello Ocean City, what glorious weather this week. Our entertainment can be described in the same way. This weekend, the one and only SURREAL, Maryland's premier rock band and a favorite at the PURPLE MOOSE SALOON, return.  Rock music and Captain Morgan seem to flow steady at the MOOSE when SURREAL is in town. Cover is $5 at 9pm on Friday and Saturday, locals show your ID. Remember Sunday thru Wednesday NO COVER.
    Saturday afternoon 2-6 pm is the entertaining DJ Joey Capo, playing your favorite tunes.  Sunday and Monday nights we welcome back FUZZBOX PIRANHA.  These guys definitely know how to rock and everyone seems to enjoy themselves dancing the night away. On Tuesday and Wednesday night we welcome back ALTER EGO, a modern rock band. Out of Baltimore their name describes them appropriately, they are out there, and yes, a little crazy.
    Then Thursday night a GUNS AND ROSES Tribute, APPETITE FOR DESTRUCTION, will rock the house.  Tribute Thursdays have been a hoot, this Thursday should not be any different.  And make your plans for the 23rd and 24th as WHITEHOUSE EFFECT heads back into town. Until next week... PEACE... Char

  HELLO OCEAN CITY and WHITE MARLIN FOLKS, WOW! WHAT A WONDERFUL BUSY WEEK!!! We are so glad to see so many familiar faces here at the Purple Moose Saloon. We do enjoy seeing all of your smiling faces and sharing good laughs with you. This week’s entertainment line-up looks like it could get wild and crazy so make sure you get down the ocean HUN and enjoy the bands.

Tonight and Saturday night out of Philadelphia is the one and only DOC HOLLYWOOD. This group does it all and also does it exceptionally well; they are always a crowds favorite. On Sunday and Monday night it's BAD/w NAMES out of Baltimore. These guys play rock and roll the good old fashion way, so if you dig that, this band’s for you. And remember, there is NO COVER Sunday through Wednesday.  On Wednesday night it's DJ JOEY CAPO playing all your favorite tunes, dance, rock, pop, you name it he's got it and he also gives out prizes. If you miss him on Wednesday night you can catch him every Saturday afternoon from 2-6 pm.

On Thursday night check out APPLE SCRUFFS, a tribute to the BEATLES.  I love this band because they are great musicians and add their own flare to the Beatles.  Batman & Cindy, I expect to see you here! And if you are making plans for next weekend, it's STIFF RICHARD, yeah baby, big boy pants required.
