How is it possible that next week is the beginning of August already? I guess between working, drinking, hooking up and sleeping... I have really lost track of time this summer, lol... my mom was right again, I probably should have finished college! Oh well,can't look back now... so let's look ahead and see what's going down at The Moose this week!

The party starts tonight at 10pm with the debut of Candlelight Red, Sunday and Monday is the return of Jettstream, Tuesday and Wednesday it's Slamm, and on our almost famoose "Tribute Thursday" we welcome back local's favorite Kashmir... the best Led Zeppelin cover band on the planet! As always,we've got NO COVER Sunday through Thursday and we are still doing $1.50 drafts/$3.50 liquor specials on those aforementioned nights too! Now it's time to start name dropping, lol... hello's and thank you's going out to Rachel (downtown Dough Roller, I know I owe you a visit!), Jenn (Western Md.), Kristen and Angie (Reading, Pa... how's the sunburn?), Susie from the 'Burgh (what was the name of that band again?), Patrick and Malorie (was so good to see you!), Danielle and her girlfriends (they were all bad, lol), Christina (New Jersey), beautiful Meghan (at Hammerheads now!), Lauren and her parents (Cockeysville, Md.), Vicki (OMG!), Lorissa and the family (you are perfect!),t he other Olga, bikini Candice (Seaford, De.), Kristy and Dawn (Insignia Hair Salon), the great Mike Collins, my old friend Steve Brown (happy belated birthday and tell Angela i said "hey"!), Kriss and Brandy (Rosedale, Md.), Laura and Sandra (old school Trixter girls that i'd love to shower with, lol), and last but not least, lovely Libby and Kelly (Pittsburgh,Pa.)!

Purple Moose - 7/23/10

Wow, has it really been a week already? Time seems to just fly by when you throw parties for a living, lol... and this upcoming week will be absolutely no different! The festivities start tonight at 10pm with Frankie and the Actions, on Sunday night it's the return of local's favorite Kashmir, Monday is the debut of Steve Brown and The Fallout, Capt. Jack will get you high (off the music of course) on Tuesday and Wednesday night, and on our almost famoose "Tribute Thursday" we are gonna take a walk down Abbey Road with the Apple Scruffs... a can't miss Beatles cover band! Alright that's enough business, time for some pleasure... hello's and thank you's going out to the beautiful Tiffany and her mommy Sandra (Pittsburgh,Pa.), the Limebite girls, Monica (see you actually have to stop in, if you want me to put you in the Barhopper, lol), Faith and Ashley (York, Pa.), Tommy (you're not in Kansas any more!), Vicki, Tiffany and Rachel (they put the grrrr in swinger, baby... i'm assuming, lol), Nessa (more cherries in your drink?), Kelly and Sue (Lewes, De.), Kit and lovely Jolita (our next door neighbors), Sissy and Missy (when's Joyce coming?), Bob and Steph (B'more), Whitney, Erica X 2, and Tracy (the wonderful Cuervo Silver girls), and last, but not least, Olga (thank you so much for the cheese cake, etc.)!

Purple Moose - 7/16/10

    I apologize for my tardiness last week... I was drunk for the first half of the week and sick for the second half, lol... thank you very much to anyone who put up WITH me while drunk and put up WITHOUT me while sick! Moving on, here's a look at the week ahead down on the boards at the World Famoose Purple Moose Saloon (antlers back in stock now by the way!!!)... the weekend party kicks off tonite (no pun intended) with the return of Alive and Kicking. Sunday and Monday it's the debut of Front. Tuesday and Wednesday we welcome to our home Riot House, and on "Tribute Thursday" it's Cygnals... playing all of your favorite Rush covers! Purple Moose - 7/2/10

    Ooooooooh, ahhhhhhhhh, ohhhhhhh... it's finally here,the July 4th weekend... and the best place to catch the fireworks is right out in front of The Moose! In addition to the fireworks going on outside, we will be blowing it up on the inside with the return of Surreal on Fri/Sat, Kashmir on Sun/Mon, Perfect Excuse on Tues/Wed and on "Tribute Thursday", it's Everybody Wants Some... a kick ass Van Halen cover band!
