Hello OC, whazzzzzzzzz upppp???  I am all abuzz with this summer’s entertainment. It's going to be a great year of kick-ass Bands and Tributes.  Check out our full page ad in this paper, actually cut it out and post it somewhere to remind you of what’s going on at the PURPLE MOOSE SALOON. I love my job and I especially love to see your smiling faces.  Thanks for encouraging my love of music!
    So this weekend has two of my favorite bands: on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights WHITEHOUSE EFFECT will be here. These guys are full of energy and everyone has a great time when they are in town. And then Monday night a LOCAL favorite is KASHMIR - a tribute to LED ZEPPELIN. This is a local night because every time KASHMIR is here it’s like old school night and I will say we all cut loose. So come on down and chill and there is no cover on Monday night.

    Rise and Shine OC, ‘cause if you’re expecting to sleep late this weekend, it ain't gonna happen; unless, of course, you stop in at the Purple Moose and have a few drinks before you go to bed. That's right because Cruisin's in town and they love to fire up those engines. Some people complain about the noise but not us; we love Cruisin Folks and they love us!
    We have Smokem Joe on Friday and Saturday nights. This group plays lots of Rock n Roll so come check them out.  And on Saturday afternoon DJ Joey Capo, a favorite of the classic car crowd, will be rocking the Purple Moose on from 2-6 pm, with trivia and prize give-a-ways.  We sure look forward to seeing all those familiar friendly faces, so we hope to see YOU here!
    Oh, by the way, we just added a frozen drink station with 9 different flavors such as Mudslides, Watermelon, Strawberry, Mango and many more. Come on in and grab your favorite flavors.     Hello OC.  As we all recover from this past weekend, let us remember those wise words brought to us by another drunk,  E. Hemingway. "An intelligent man/woman is sometimes forced to be drunk to spend time with his fools." I'll drink to that and we did have a blast. Thanks to the crew at Lazy Lizard, The gang at MR Ducks with Mary Lou and the Untouchables and last but not least, the wonderful staff at the Purple Moose. Also a shout-out to Alter Ego who Rocked the Moose; can't wait to see you!
    What's happening this week at the Purple Moose, you might ask? Well let me tell you, now pay attention... Friday and  Saturday nights The NEthinzs will taking the stage at 10 pm and NO COVER. On Saturday afternoon the 35th annual Pub Crawl hits the boards and DJ Joey Capo is going to have the crowd going crazy. If you want to be a part of this huge party get here early.
    I'm getting excited for Memorial weekend. Two of my favorite bands are going to hit this town, WHITEHOUSE EFFECT and KASHMIR Make your plans; we always have a blast when they are at the Moose.

    OMG it's here, the Season Opener.  I'm not sure how it happens but all I know is I'm sitting home in my cozy recliner, I stretch out and 6 months have flown by.  Now I don't know about you all, but 6 months use to seem like a really long time, not anymore! When I was in my teens, it seemed like time stood still, couldn't wait to get my license and get on with life and now I wish things would slow down just a bit. Oh well, can't change what is but we can improve on what’s going on, so here it is.
    This weekend ALTER EGO will take the stage at 10 pm on Friday and Saturday nights. You should really give them a listen; it’s a mixture of different bands and they really got it together. The WORLD FAMOOSE PURPLE MOOSE SALOON is planning on rocking it out this year. We have a great line-up of kick a$$ entertainment, such as WHITEHOUSE EFFECT, SURREAL, DOC HOLLYWOOD along with great Tributes. KASHMIR will be here Memorial Day Monday so clear your calendar on Tuesday cause anyone in the know needs a day to recover.
